December 15th, 2018: FAIR AND
BALANCED & LAST CHRISTMAS During recent interview for
Next Best
Picture
Theodore Shapiro not only discussed more details about his
work on Destroyer but also revealed his two new projects: "I'm
starting to work on SPIES IN DISGUISE which should be
great fun, and the new movie directed by Jay Roach and
starring Nicole Kidman and Charlize Theron about Fox News and
Roger Ailes so that's very very exciting. It has a fantastic
script by Charles Randolph and Jay is a wonderful wonderful
director to work with. So it's been thrilling to try to crack
the code of that puzzle. I'm going to be working with Paul
Feig again on his film LAST CHRISTMAS. So I think 2019 should
be a good year." While
Lionsgate will release Jay Roach's FAIR AND BALANCED in late
2019, Universal's LAST CHRISTMAS already has set release date
on November 15th, 2019.
November 10th, 2018: ALBUM: DESTROYER
Lakeshore Records will release Theodore
Shapiro's score for upcoming DESTROYER digitally next week.
The album will feature roughly 46 minutes of original score
and you can already pre-order from
Amazon. Check out

October 18th, 2018: TRAILER & HMMA
NOMINATION:
DESTROYER Theodore Shapiro has just been nominated
for HOLLYWOOD MUSIC IN MEDIA AWARD for his score for upcoming
DESTROYER in Best Original Score - Feature Film category. The
film and the music have already received some positive
reviews. The trailer was also just released today and
soundtrack album is in the works. For more info about the

FAVOR. The
award ceremony will take place on November 14 and you can

August 30th,
2018: ALBUM:
A SIMPLE FAVOR As
previously mentioned Lakeshore will release A SIMPLE FAVOR
soundtrack album. The album will include almost 63 minutes of
the original score and will be available digitally on
September 14th. You can check out the tracklist and other info
on the project's page and pre-order from
iTunes.
May 21st, 2018:
TRAILER: A SIMPLE FAVOR Lionsgate will release Paul
Feig's first foray into thriller genre on September 14th and
you can already watch the first trailer above. The movie
centers around Stephanie (Anna Kendrick), a mommy vlogger who
seeks to uncover the truth behind her best friend Emily's
(Blake Lively) sudden disappearance from their small town.

February 6th, 2018:
NEW PROJECT: PETER RABBIT
Columbia Records is expected to
release soundtrack album for family comedy PETER RABBIT later
this week. While the film was scored by Dominic
Lewis, Theodore Shapiro and director Will
Gluck co-wrote original song "Small as Your Dreams". The
track is produced by Lewis and performed by Katharine Hoye,
Jessica Freedman, Chad C. Reisser & Fletcher Sheridan.
PETER
RABBIT starring Rose Byrne, Domhnall Gleeson & Sam
Neill and which also features the voices of James Corden,
Daisy Ridley, Elizabeth Debicki and Margot Robbie, will be
released this Friday, February 9 by Sony Pictures.
February 4th, 2018:
NEW PROJECT: SPIES IN
DISGUISE Theodore
Shapiro has signed on to score upcoming Blue Sky Animation
project SPIES IN DISGUISE. The movie marks feature length
directorial debut of Nick Bruno and Troy Quane
and will feature voice talents of Will Smith and Tom Holland.
No plot details have been revealed but the movie is based on
the short PIGEON: IMPOSSIBLE directed and written by Lucas
Martell. 20th Century Fox will released the movie
on September 13th, 2019.
