December 8th, 2008: NEW PROJECT: YEAR ONE
Theodore Shapiro is doing the music for comedy veteran Harold Ramis' adventure YEAR ONE, where Jack Black and Michael Cera plays two hunters who embark on an "epic journey through the ancient world." Produced by Judd Apatow (Knocked Up, The 40 Year Old Virgin) for release on June 19 next year, the film is Shapiro's first collaboration with Ramis, who has directed such comedy classics as Groundhog Day and Analyze This. Shapiro's other upcoming film scores include I LOVE YOU, MAN and JENNIFER'S BODY. Among his recent credits are MARLEY & ME and TROPIC THUNDER.

July 26th, 2008: NEW PROJECT: JENNIFER´S BODY & I LOVE YOU, MAN
The upcoming thriller comedy JENNIFER'S BODY, starring Magan Fox, Amanda Seyfried and Adam Brody, has been added to Theodore Shapiro's resume at the Gorfaine-Schwartz Agency web site. The film is directed by Karyn Kusama, the Aeon Flux helmer who previously worked with Shapiro on GIRLFIGHT. Jennifer's Body, a tale about a cheerleader who turns into a vicious killer, is the new project from JUNO writer Diablo Cody and producer Jason Reitman. It's scheduled to be released next year, distributed by Fox Atomic. Theodore Shapiro is also working on the music for a comedy I LOVE YOU, MAN, directed by John Hamburg.
